  • One of our housemates is moving into her own place and so we're looking to fill one of our rooms in our well-loved house. The house: - Modern gated development in central Bow - Three-storey townhouse, fittings and furnishings in good condition - Open-plan modern kitchen, living room and dining area - Three bathrooms altogether, including a guest toilet downstairs. - Garden that gets plenty of sunshine, with garden furniture and BBQ (and there's a large shed to safely store bikes, suitcases etc) - Laundry room with washer/dryer - Tons of storage space - Free parking space that is currently unused. The room/rent: - Single room with large free-standing wardrobe, and views over the garden. - Although on the smaller side, we have loads of storage space including a couple of hallway cupboards and a shed in our garden. - The rent is £570 pcm. Bills are not included but normally work out to around £80-90 pcm - this includes WiFi, Sky, council tax, cleaner twice a month, water and electricity. The area: Fairly quiet and we are away from main roads, but still well connected. 10 minutes’ walk from Victoria Park, 5 minutes from Roman Road market and a large Tesco (open until 11pm), and 5-7 minutes from a 24hr Co-op. Hackney Wick is a 10-15 minute walk. Westfield Stratford is a 10-minute bus ride away (the bus stops around the corner from the house). Lots of nice gastropubs and cafés in the immediate area, too. Transport: 5-7 minutes’ walk from Bow Road (District, Hammersmith & City lines) and 10 minutes’ walk from Mile End (Central – great for night tube and 5 minutes to Liverpool St). 5-7 minutes from Bow Church (DLR), which takes you to Canary Wharf in 9 minutes. Great night bus connections including the N205, N25 and N8. About us: Professionals aged 27-29 working in media analysis/sustainability/consulting. An international bunch (hailing from Scotland/Turkey/Luxembourg) and some of our shared interests include sunny pints, trips to the cinema (preferably Genesis in Whitechapel) and gallery hopping. About you: We are looking for other professionals who are easy going, clean and who will enjoy living in this house as much as we do! We are ideally looking for a minimum commitment of 5 months.
